Mark and His Fibbing
Children’s, picture book
“I promise guys, no more lies, to you all or to my mom.” Mark said.
Mark was grounded and was not allowed to go to the park. He lied to his mom about where he was going. He then had to learn the hard way that being bad has consequences. Luckily he had his friends to help him through it and his bad decision. With love and aftereffect he learned lying is not good.

Author, Martin A. Marquez, Jr. is an upcoming writer, endeavoring to help people of all ages through godly, biblical principles. This is Mr. Marquez’s second book, “Mark and His Fibbing”, and his first in a series, “Stories from the Heritage Friends”. I read this book to my children and they all enjoyed it, and it reinforces what is already taught in their home: do not lie. I’m looking forward to Mr. Marquez’s next book in the series. If you haven’t already, check out his first title, “Overcoming Depression Through His Word”.

I am a Christian educator and can’t wait to be able to share this book with my students. It was well written and the illustrations are absolutely amazing. We all remember a special book that may have impacted our life as a youngster and this may very well be one of those types of books!

I read this book to my youngest daughter's and we all really enjoyed it. It had engaging characters and great illustration's. I had to read the book from the side so they could see every page! Christian values are present in the story and presented in such a way even my young children understood them. I would recommend this book to others for a good read or as a great gift idea for a child.
